Responsibilities:
We provide Emergency Services Protection for the Town of Groveland. Those services include but are not limited to Fire Protection, Rescue Operations, and Water problems. The Groveland Fire Department operates out of two (2) Stations in the Town of Groveland. A two bay truck storage area is located at the - 6218 Groveland Hill Road and the main Fire Station located at 7428 Groveland Station Road (Rte 63).

Fire Department Meeting and Drills:
Fire Department meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the main fire station located at 7428 Groveland Station Road. Meetings are open to prospective new members. We are always looking for New Members!
Reserve the Fire Hall or Fire Pavilion:
Fire Hall and Pavilion can be reserved for public use. There is no charge, but donations are appreciated. To schedule a date please contact Linda Linsner @ 243-3119 or 243-1441.

To Request the Fire Department to conduct a Controlled Burn:
Effective November 2009 the NYS DEC has passed a law of no open burning. The law may allow the fire department to conduct controlled burns as a training exercise; however, not all situations are covered under the new law. If interested, please contact the Fire Chief.
Ongoing Events:
- Turkey Raffle (if held) Saturday before Thanksgiving
- Occasional community fund-raisers to help support continuing training and equipment
