Based on the 2000 Census, our population was 3,853.

Livingston County population has grown since the 2010 census to over 65,000 people. Having this increase allows for additional funding opportunities throughout the county.

The reduction in census population I would say is based in the reduction of inmates housed at our facilities, because we have had a steady increase of new houses built within our township over several years now.
